Early morning at Cates Park, I met with the lovely Kate to take some photos and capture her doing a cold water swim (a must-try, for all those shaking their heads at the thought - it feels amazing). It was a 3 degree morning, so not the easiest day for a swim, but we were graced by the presence of a bald eagle perched in the tree right above us, so somehow it all felt right.
Not only did Kate brave the cold, but she braved the (surprised and elated) kayakers that breezed right in front of her :)
